Prices of monuments, markers, and slants vary by many different factors.  Below is some ideas you might wanna think about before choosing a monument!

1.  COLOR AND GRADE OF STONE- We have over 60+ colors of granite memorials (both imported and domestic) available in stock!  Granite memorials come in three grades.  Grade A stone isn't used in monument applications.  Grade AA is the lowest priced stone available.  Its usually a lighter variation and subject to discoloration, streaking, striping, and your lettering doesn't stay bright, clean and easy to read.   Alot of funeral homes that sell monuments offer this lower priced stone in their monuments.  If you go out to a cemetery and look at monuments, most of them will be dull, dingy, dirty, and very UNreadable!  Grade AAA is the best stone and the only grade of stone we sell here at Biltz Monument Company.  GRADE AAA stone is always a bright, shiny, high lustre stone that will stay cleaner, shinier, and stay that way FOREVER, GUARANTEED!  If you go out to a cemetery and look at the monuments that stand out from the rest; the ones that are shiny, the lettering easy to read, and have a high lustre finish to them are generally monuments we have designed and sold!   ***I do keep sample monuments here to show customers the difference!***

2.  SIZES AND SHAPES- Every cemetery has their own set of rules as to what kinda of monument a customer is allowed to set on their graves.  Some cemeteries only allow maximum lengths and maximum heights respectively.  With over 800 styles in stock, we are able to accomodate every budget and taste for a personable memorial!

3.  QUALITY OF ENGRAVING AND DESIGN-  We have over fifteen thousand available designs to choose from.  All of the engraving is done right here with the exception of laser artwork.  We offer the best sandblast lettering as well as sandblast carving and shape carving anywhere!  Each customer receives a exact proof before any stone is cut. **Make sure you check with dealer to see if they do their own sandblasting or do they show you a picture of something similar and its sent off to be done by a assembly line monument manufacturing plant!  Also our completion times range from 2-6 weeks depending on stone.
